Can I automatically close all of the issues inside an Epic when the Epic transitions to resolved

I'm working with a customer that has the following use case:
Epics represent larger projects or initiates. At times, Epics (initiatives, projects) are cancelled; therefore the Epic is closed. They want to avoid having to manually close the issues that are linked to that epic. Is there a way to do this? Essentially, a post-function/script on the Epic workflow that looks for linked issues and closes them. Scriptrunner is available. Jira server.
