Is there a way to auto-sync from Excel back into JIRA?

I have recently downloaded the xls plugin for JIRA which allows me to connect to JIRA and download the required fields.

We have several users that do not use JIRA.  I have the method to download the project they wish to update and would like to know if there is a way to auto-sync back to the JIRA project?
