Cannot configure Sentry plugin for JIRA

After installing the Sentry add-on from JIRA marketplace, I'm trying to configure it, but I get prompted with a message to "Sign In into Sentry". Clicking on the button just opens a new tab(pointing to sentry.io login url) opening sentry, without anything happening.

I'm unable to setup the plugin, because of this. Is there a workaround for this or is the plugin just not working at all?

i cannot install the sentry integration for jira server.  i get the following error:

I have received the following response from Sentry support, and using a different browser (in my case Firefox) helped to overcome this issue (it's only needed once to establish the integration - using Chrome afterwards works fine):
