Have you tried the Retrospective template in Confluence? It allows you to keep track of the Action Items that come out of a Retrospective, and you can create an Action Items List for all your retrospectives by using the Task Report macro.

What additional functionality are you looking for that this template does not provide?

Hello @shankara vijayendran

When it comes to optimizing team retrospectives, making the right choice regarding a Jira Cloud retrospective plug-in is crucial. Within the spectrum of options available, we’d like to introduce you to a potential solution designed to streamline your retrospective process.

To conduct effective retrospectives, having a tool that simplifies action item tracking and evaluates both successes and challenges is paramount. Common card-based methods often lead to extended discussions that lack actionable insights.

This is where Power Retro comes into play. Utilizing the capabilities of AI, it accelerates data processing and intelligently categorizes cards by topic, providing insights into recurring patterns. Additionally, it suggests actionable items, with the intention of translating insights into tangible improvements.

Feel free to reach out for a demonstration at your convenience.

Hi @shankara vijayendran👋

Tenille here from Easy Agile. We make an app that works inside Jira called Easy Agile TeamRhythm. TeamRhythm links retrospectives with your work in Jira; you can run a retrospective and turn an action item into a Jira issue in just a few clicks, which is automatically saved on your backlog so that you refine it when you next look at your backlog and sequence the issue in your next planning ceremony.

In TeamRhythm the retrospective boards sit side-by-side with a User Story Map that you can use for planning your work (sprint/version planning, user story mapping, backlog refinement).

If you’d like to check it out, you can jump into our sandbox demo here: https://go.easyagile.com/TRdemo

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. And good luck with your search.

Cheers

Hi @shankara vijayendran

Since you are still an active user, I would like to suggest the app I have developed - Multi-team Scrum Metrics & Retrospective, for:

  1.  In-place retrospections and Drill-down from higher-level (years, half-years, quarters, or months) to lower-level periods to understand how top-level metrics are constructed

  2. Auto-generation of reports with Pie Charts and Tables:
  • Team Comparison Report
  • Period Comparison Report
  • Non-comparison Team Retrospective Report

These reports can also group teams, which is ideal for SoS/SAFe/etc. retrospectives:

  • Compare groups of teams, e.g., Team 1 and Team 5 as one entity versus Team 3 and Team 4 as another.
  • Compare periods, e.g., 2024 vs. 2023 for Team 1 and Team 5 combined.

Best regards,
Alexey Pavlenko
