Recently we have added changes to Microsoft Teams for Jira Server that can affect user experience a bit. But don't worry it should be even better now.
Create issue screen
If you try to create an issue you will see up to 20 recently used projects in the project selector.
Note: Jira Server will treat project as recently used if you'll use it directly in Jira. Any actions you are doing via app will not be taking into account.
If you cannot find your project in a list, please just try to search for it by a name and select it from the list
To use projects search functionality you will need to ask Jira Server admin to upgrade Microsoft Teams for Jira Server add-on app at least to version 2022.08.103 on your Jira Server.
In other case you will see the notification message:
Note: If you are seeing an error "You don't have permission to perform this action" on Create issue screen, but you didn't have it before, please try to clear Teams cache (do Sign Out/Sign In inside Teams desktop client).
My filters tab and Configure channel tab
Other changes are related to My filters static tab and the screen for configuring new tab in channel.
If you want to create custom filter for your tab you will see project selector with the same changes as we have for Create issue
Inside filters selector you will be able to see just your favorite filters instead of all available filters.
Note: you will need to open a filter in Jira directly and "star" it to display filter in the list.
