Hi community!
For those of you creating technical diagrams in Confluence, I want to highlight a Gliffy feature that teams love for process, architecture, and network diagrams: layer linking.
In Gliffy, you can link layers to objects, turning those objects into a button to hide or reveal the linked layers — meaning you can turn your diagrams into interactive touchpoints on your Confluence page!
When you use linked layers, your teammates who read the Confluence pages where your diagrams are placed can customize their view without even entering the Gliffy editor. Think: showing the current and future state of a project, highlighting a decision point in a process, or hiding or revealing notes on your diagrams for teams that don't need a ton of details. This is perfect for when you have a massive, tangled diagram you want to simplify for your audience, and it's available in both Cloud and Data Center!
There’s a full tutorial on our blog to help you get started: https://www.gliffy.com/blog/using-layers-in-diagrams
Happy layering!
