Do you know the hassle of finding the right place or date for a team event? Your team members cannot decide on an activity? We know. Therefore, we created Multivote for Confluence almost ten years ago. Since then, Multivote became one of the most widely used polling apps for Confluence. With Multivote, you can create a small poll in a few minutes in which everybody who can see the page can vote on multiple options.
With the release of Forge and Atlassian’s journey to Cloud, we wanted to bring this experience to the Cloud as well. Using Forge, Atlassian provides all the infrastructure needed, so the data stays with Atlassian. Biggest advantage: Our app is GDPR compliant out-of-the-box.
Being a small team, we are unable to provide all the server infrastructure that would be necessary for a Connect app. Now, with the release of Forge, we are finally able to migrate our apps to the Cloud.
We want to make the creation of polls as easy as possible in the Cloud. So, you just add a Multivote macro on a page and publish it. The configuration of the poll is happening on the view mode of the page. This is faster than having to switch to the edit mode first.
In the configuration, you can add, rearrange or delete options to the poll. Then, everybody who can see the page can vote for as many options as they like.
That’s all. It’s actually that easy.
This is just the beginning of the journey
The people who know Multivote & Enterprise Survey for Confluence in the on-premise version know that there is more to our app. We are actively working on implementing the Enterprise Survey part for the Cloud.
With our Survey macro, you can create complex surveys based on the popular SurveyJS library which allows for conditional questions, various question types (e.g., freetext, dropdown, ratings, multiple-choice etc.), as well as anonymous votes.
We plan to provide this part of the app in the next couple of months.
Do you want to try it out?
You can find the Cloud version in the Atlassian Marketplace. Just start a trial and let us know what you think. We are always looking forward to get feedback about how we can improve our app even further.
