It seems there are some Marketplace app vendors with their own subsection; ALM Works, Appfire, and Adaptavist to name a few.

How can I get a subsection added for Comalatech? It would certainly make it easier to find and respond to user requests.

@Mike Rink hi Mike! We aren't adding new vendor subcollections at the moment because we are trying to find a scalable solution for this (there are hundreds of vendors). You could use tags to support this in numerous ways -- for example, with a dedicated comalatech tag you could build into your user support flow.

Let me know if you'd like to chat more about this!

Thanks for the response @Monique vdB, it's too bad to hear that some vendors have subcollections while others are excluded. We're using the Community search function to find users' posts (as well as tags), but all it takes is a mis-spelling or other tiny mistake for us to miss them.

@Mike Rink that won't be the case forever -- we'll either give all vendors subcollections or find another solution, and deprecate the ones that exist.

You can create a search alert for your app name and common misspellings of the name, which might help.  You can also provide a direct link for your users with the correct spelling when you direct them here.

For what it's worth, the discussion about how we better identify and group apps and their vendors is something that comes up all the time with the Atlassians and Champions guiding the community direction.

On the downside, we're not sure how to improve it.  But everyone agrees it needs to be better.

Thanks for the follow-up @Monique vdB, and I appreciate your input as well @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-. It's clear there's a gap, and I'm pleased to see that it's something Atlassian is planning to address.
