My name is Ada, and I'm the Product Marketing Manager for Confluence Server at Atlassian. If you missed our last post, we're transitioning to quarterly updates so you can review all product updates in one, summarized digest. Here's June's update:
We launched our new mobile apps for Android and iOS! In Confluence 6.8, we also improved the way request access works under the hood. Instead of asking just one person to grant access, we now email up to 5 people at once.
In Confluence 6.9, we've given you more control over your editing experience. A new menu in the editor gives you the option to preview the page, view all changes since the page was last published, revert to the last published version, or delete the page.
Last but not least, CalDAV support is now available in Team Calendars 6.0! Team Calendars is an Atlassian Marketplace app that brings schedules and work together so teams know who's doing what and when. CalDAV support enables two-way syncing between Team Calendars and your calendar app. Now you’ll be able to update Team Calendars events from Outlook, Google Calendar (Android), or Apple Calendar.
We fixed 40 bugs in recent versions - check out the full list here.
For a full breakdown of features, bugfixes, and upgrade notes, check out the Confluence Upgrade Matrix.
Enterprise releases are designed specifically for larger, more complex instances – ones that require significant planning and effort to upgrade. These versions are vetted for enterprise scalability and will have critical bugfixes backported regularly, so you can upgrade with confidence. Learn more here.
