This is Brilliant!

I have double the reasons to celebrate this.

I run an Agility Solutioning Boutique by the name "AgilrVirgin" and I am also an Atlassian tools lover and so I because AUG for my city.

Now with these video series I am going to combine both my strong skills - Agile and Atlassian tools, and run AUG series for my community local here.

If you see, our next two meetups are actually combination if Agile and Atlassian, as that's what my audience need - How Atlassian tools enable Agility in Organisations. And these videos are proof that Atlassian is pioneers and thought leader in industry, who pave the way for Business and Enterprise Agility for it's users.

Liza Gonzalez January 25, 2022

Hello, I'm hoping someone will be able to assist me. I'm trying to create automation rules to create JIRA tasks on a daily, bi-weekly or monthly cadence and transition the task from the backlog to "selected for development" status. Does someone know how to do this?

I attempted to create it but it creates hundreds of tasks instead of one daily or one monthly.

Thank you,

Liza Gonzalez

Hi @Liza Gonzalez -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

First thing: I recommend posting something like this as a question in the Jira or the Automation areas.  That will get the most community members looking at it to help you.  https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Automation/ct-p/automation

Next, for a question like this, please post images of your rule and the audit log details showing the execution(s) which do not work as you expect.  That will provide context for others to help.

Lastly, I suspect there is an issue with your scheduled trigger for the rule.  Please take a look at the settings to see if it is configured with the timeframes you expect.

Kind regards,
Bill
