Why no EPIC UP Added in Jira?

I always wonder why Atlassian is not coming up with an EPIC sum up feature (such a simple one I believe) instead of pushing customers to use third-party addons or write their own script and mess up at times lol 😂 . 

Considering Atlassian is focusing on the Agile/SAFe framework, I strongly feel having such a small feature adds big value to the organisations.

ANY THOUGHTS ????
