adding story and epic on plan sourced from label based filter/board

Use case:

- my plan is created sourcing from board "ABC_BOARD"

- The board is based on a filter: project=XYZ and labels=ABC

Issue description:

so on the plan I can add epics and stories, but when I save changes,

I will get errors of "XYZ-1234 issue is no longer visible on your plan."

Question:

I understand that if I add label "ABC" to the new epic/story that I created from the plan manually would make those issues visible again on the plan. But this is not convenient at least, if not prone to error.

Is there an automatic way to apply label "ABC" on all issues I create from the plan view?

Hi @Leon

You could also include the Labels field in your plan (from the Fields menu).

This wold allow you to attach your labels to the issues as you create them in the plan directly.

While this is not automatic, it means so long as you attach the labels before saving to Jira, the issues will stay in the plan.
