I am creating a plan in Roadmaps. For simplicity, this plan contains 2 Jira projects, 2 team boards (one for each project), 1 epic that contains issues from both projects.
When completing the plan set up and I view the plan in the gantt view, I see the epic I selected with all of the issues I expect under it, however, I also see an epic I did not select in the set up wizard appear in my plan. I went back to see if I accidentally selected the unexpected epic, and confirmed that the unexpected epic was not selected, and in fact, does not show up in the list of selectable epics to include in the plan as it was marked as completed.
I cannot figure out why this epic is showing up in my plan and need some help in troubleshooting.
Thanks!
@Gus MI have this exact issue, and have just assumed at this point that it's a bug..... In fact I may have even written it up, but won't swear by that. I see this when trying to use a Filter source with multiple Board sources. I want the Filter so that I can get an entire Initiative and all the children Capabilities/Epics, but I have to bring in the boards such that the story sprint dates will populate. However our teams also work other Initiatives, and thus I try to "de-select" the other work from the scrum board and yet it still shows up on the plan I have to manually "Remove from plan" CONSTANTLY. It's super annoying and frustrating.
What I would really like is if the source input function were smart enough to AND all the sources together so I wouldn't have to deselect anything at all..... I feel like if you configure a Filter source, it should definitely trump all other sources.
Let me know if you find anything that fixes it!
