Hi everyone,
When an issue/story is created in the roadmap and the changes are persisted to Jira, we are being presented with a set required fields dialog box, even though all fields shown in the box are set. We think it might be related to project settings, but we do not know how to diagnose which field is causing the issue.
What should we be looking at to track down where the issue is coming from, as not all projects have this type of issue?
Hi,
I had the same problem and it was related with some requested fields in Field configuration scheme and creation transition. The fields requested were not even displayed in pop-up screen but caused the problem. My recommendation is review and remove fields required in field scheme.
Hi everybody,
Any updates on this matter?
Our organization is having this issue for days now.
Already review our custom field schema and everything seems ok.
Any help would be appreciated.

Our company is encountering this as well. A person will create, say 20 issues through the Plan view, but then has to go through a pop-up for every one of them after saving, which mostly defeats the point of bulk creating these tasks.
This also only started happening for us in maybe Oct 2022 (we've been using Jira & Advanced Roadmaps since Jan 2022).
From what I can see there aren't any hidden required fields either...
Would love any ideas on how to solve this, since it's quite an impediment for the team at the moment.

Do you have any news about this?

how can the "Set required fields" dialog be invoked in the first place, please?
Thanks.

It shouldn't be invoked, as this dialog box doesn't pop up in other projects. The transitions in the workflow seem to be fine too

We also have this issue where every time we go to commit changes we have to sit through the pop-up for each item that was created.
