New Experience - Auto Schedule - prevent update to sprint?

Hi,

I have a recurring issue when using auto schedule.

There's no way I can see of stopping PF auto assigning a sprint.

The issue I'm having is that PF is assigning backlog items into teams' active sprints.

Why is this? how do you stop it?
