Issues have disappeared in plan when skipping status.

Edited

5129.png5130.pngPlan.pngHi,

I created a plan. (PFA)

You see epic-5129 has no issue, epic-5130 has one issue.

However, 5129 has one issue and 5130 has 6 issues actually.

This happens when I skip the status of issue - e.g. from To Do to Accepted.

Is this a bug?

We don't skip the status usually, but are sometimes forced to do so.

So I don't want to see this happen.

Regards,

Teru

Hi Teru,

From what you're describing, i would suspect that there is something in the post functions of the specific transition that is updating the issue and changing one of the paramaters including the issue in the plan.  If your linking via a board filter possible something in the filter is excluding the issue or if the plan has excluded release versions check if the release version is changing to an excluded version.

Overall when an issue is not showing up in the plan the following post has a really good list covering items it could be relating to and you would what to check these:

Earl

Thanks Earl for the information.

I checked it but couldn't find similar case to me.

I don't set any filter other than release, but I don't change release.

I just changed the status of a story which is present in the plan.

If I change the status from To Do to Done, it doesn't disappear.

If I change the status from To Do to Accepted, it disappears.

So skipping status is not enough, skipping Done status seems the cause.

Does portfolio assumes something (which is changed when it's "Done" like the completion mark) in the story as the filter in a plan?

Hope it help.

Regards,

Teru
