Issues Switching Between new Improved & Older Planning Interface

Hello, Newer Portfolio user here. Enjoying the power of the tool.

I need the report functionality of the original planning interface but appreciate the benefits of the new improved planning interface. As we know the new interface doesn't have the report options yet.

My question. Is it a bad idea to switch back and forth between the two? That is, do all my planning work with the new interface but switch back to the old when I need a report. Or am I asking for problems switch back and forth like this?
