Is it possible to add items to Portfolio that are not JIRA issue types?

Can Portfolio only visualize items that come from JIRA? I would like to create a plan with different scenarios of future items to work on, that are not clearly defined, or that are in a brainstorming phase. I do not want to create JIRA initiatives/epics/stories yet, since they might evaporate or change considerably as we plan.

So far I have seen that anything I want to pull into Portfolio needs to exist in JIRA, or needs be be created ad hoc at least.

Has anyone experience with this? Thanks

Hello Simone,

In fact, you can create issues from inside Portfolio. The issues will only be created in Jira when you commit the changes. If you want to plan first in Portfolio, you can just create the issues in Portfolio and do not commit. If you want to cancel, just rever the changes or exclude from the plan and the issues wont be created in Jira.

See this example I've made

Hope this helps.
