In Jira Portfolio Scope View -> Releases

How is the Releases field populated in Jira Portfolio Scope View. When I viewed the Jira Story or Epic, there is no field called release.

1 answer

The portfolio scheduling algorithm will slot your issues in scope view based on the release rank that you specify in the 'releases' tab by dragging and dropping the releases in the order of priority (then clicking 'calculate' on your plan)...

The release field in a story or epic, the 'fix/Version' field is the field you would use to select the release name.
