How to use multiple filters in the story mapping board for one project

Jubilee Kar September 28, 2022

Hi,

I want to create multiple filters and multiple story mapping board with different goals for each story mapping board for a single project. How can I do that? I tried to create multiple filters for the same project but the filter is  copying the same goals of the previous filter.

Hi @Jubilee Kar , I am not following you. Can you restate your goal? A board will display all issues that result from the board's filter. If you wish to have boards display different issues the simply create different filters and create boards based upon each filter.

@Jubilee Kar -

Welcome to the community.  Generally - once a SCRUM/KANBAN board is created (NOTE - it can only have one filter query to pull in the data from one or multiple projects), you can create multiple quick filter to sort/control the issues displays in the board.

However, it is not quite clear on what you are asking, so please provide more information and we can then advise further.

thank you very much for the quick response.
Look at the screenshot below. I've created 2 filters with different filtration criteria.
When I open filter 2, it  copies  the same goals of filter 1.
How can I create different goals for different filters?

@Jubilee Kar -

It seems you are using an third party add-on create Story Maps by Dev Samurai.  Since it is an separate add-on, I would recommend you to contact the vendor for technical support on this matter.

Hi @Joseph Chung Yin

I agree with @Jubilee Kar that this is an app for Story Mapping, and you'll have to reach out to their support team with your questions.

However, this isn't Easy Agile's user story mapping app Easy Agile TeamRhythm

Based on the addon key in the URL, it looks like an app from Dev Samurai, likely Agile User Story Maps, Roadmaps & Persona Journey for Jira

Best of luck,

@Henri Seymour _Easy Agile_ -

Thanks for pointing out my incorrect reference.  I have updated my original response to reflect against the correct vendor - "Dev Samurai".  Please accept my apology.

@Jubilee Kar -

Please contact the corrected add-on vendor for additional support on your question.

Best, Joseph
