How to save columns in scope view

Is there a way to save columns in the scope view of a plan?  The documentation doesn't seem to mention it: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiraportfolioserver/configuring-the-scope-view-802170531.html

Same question here, hope is possible, if not, then UX pretty poor
