One of the biggest complaint from our eng team is about the number of clicks they have to follow to edit the issues. I remember the older version of the Advanced Roadmaps gave the ability to see the details of an issue on the right hand side in the same page when clicked. Anyone know how to enable that or if the feature is not available anymore?
The detail view doesn't currently exist in Advanced Roadmaps, but it's something we're currently working on and will be releasing to customers soon.
For some context, the reason we don't include the issue view is because Advanced Roadmaps is a sandbox - everything you do gets 'staged' until you choose to commit it to Jira. The existing Jira issue view doesn't support this sandboxing.
So the issue view that is coming soon is a stripped-back version that - for now - will just include the summary and description fields. Editing these will result in sandboxed changes that you can choose to commit to Jira, or discard.
Thanks for the feedback :)

@Angus Russell , thank you for response. Will the view not let the change to STATUS?
Will the view display the other fields, like comments?
What is the link to the feature request JIRA so I can see when it is being released?
STRUCTURE was way better with these features to use compared to PORTFOLIO.

Hi @Swarna Chilakala ,
Initially, the only fields in the issue modal will be issue summary and issue description.
It does give us a foundation on which we could add comments in the future.
Issue status - when we get to it - is more likely to be done from the status field/column in the roadmap.
Thanks,
Angus
