Doing relative story point to estimate US, can we still do capacity planning

If we are doing relative story point to estimate user stories, can we still use capacity planning.

My understanding is the user stories should be estimated on Ideal days, then you can use the team capacity because you add the hours that each team members is available and that is how the calculation is set.

Yes, Stories' estimation (story points) are done on a consistent manner, regardless of team capacity. Then based on your Velocity (which you might want to update over time as it gets more precise or changes) Portfolio is able to calculate the date while taking into account other capacity factors like holidays.
