@Jeanne Higgins -

You (assuming you have the configuration right to the plan), you can go into the plan configuration UI and change the "Scheduling" option from Days to Hours for Estimation. 

If you have the "Estimates (d)" field exposed in your plan, it will automatically change the name to "Estimates (h)".
