Resource Management in JIRA Portfolio

I am learning how the Portfolio tool works..... I want to test Resource Management functionality and by that, I mean -

  • Enter a bunch of resources & their per week availability (0 to 40hrs),
  • Enter a bunch of active Projects with varying start / end dates,
  • Configure standard Phases of a Project (Story-writing, Development, QA, Deploy, Support1 and Support2)

How do I need to configure this tool to view a summary dashboard of the portfolio in terms of resources assigned per Project and their availability levels or %Allocations?

someone will suggest bigpicture or portfolio for jira, but if you have time, I suggest you try a new plugin, which seems to fill the void of the first two plugins, too much agile and little to the reality of most companies. The plugin is that of morosystems https://www.amethyst-project.com/
