Atlassian: 20 Years of Quirky Decisions

This year marks 20 years since Atlassian was founded, and in that time, they've made some quirky decisions:

• Developed and launched innovative products like the Jira family and Confluence
• Constantly renamed their products: Jira Core to Jira Work Management, Jira Agile to Jira Software, Jira Service Desk to Jira Service Management
• Acquired other products, some of which were successful and some of which were not
• Killed the not-so-good ones, like HipChat (RIP)
• Introduced new platforms over time: Server, Cloud, then Data Center
• Then killed Server
• Launched new products every year
