This year marks 20 years since Atlassian was founded, and in that time, they've made some quirky decisions:
- Developed and launched innovative products like the Jira family and Confluence
- Constantly renamed their products: Jira Core to Jira Work Management, Jira Agile to Jira Software, Jira Service Desk to Jira Service Management
- Acquired other products, some of which were successful and some of which were not
- Killed the not-so-good ones, like HipChat (RIP)
- Introduced new platforms over time: Server, Cloud, then Data Center
- Then killed Server
- Launched new products every year
We captured all of these moments in this diagram. Feel free to correct us if we're wrong or missing anything!
