What does your JIRA/Confluence instance(s) look like?

David Cowley September 6, 2019

Thought this might be an interesting conversation starter. We're public sector and running JIRA and Confluence on prem. We're currently running the enterprise releases which will be ending support in November, JIRA 7.6.x and Confluence 6.6.x. We are planning and trying to coordinate an upgrade to JIRA 7.13.x and Confluence 6.13.x in the next 6 weeks or so.

We have a 10,000 user license level (for both), along with a number of add-ons.

We have a team that uses our instances on a 24/7 basis which creates maintenance/upgrade/outage nightmares. While the rest of our users are content with business hour availability.

We've had to make a number of upgrades over the past two years to our hardware and configurations in order to keep performance within sight of acceptable levels, but we seem unable to completely solve this problem.

Our JIRA stats are:

Anyone else running a similar sized instance? Bigger?

We are at the 2000 user license.  Here are our stats.  I'm currently reviewing what I can clean up and how to improve performance.  I would be interested to hear what you have done.
