Topic Tuesday - 9 October 2018 - Containers

Atlassian have a docker container for Confluence that is good for testing and can be tweaked for production.  https://hub.docker.com/r/atlassian/confluence-server/

They don't currently support a container for JIRA, but there are a couple of requests in for it to be supported.

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-67950

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-16545

Discussion topic.  Do any of you run Confluence or JIRA in a container?  Local or AWS/Azure...

Is this something you will look at for future deployments?

I have confirmed with Atlassian that at this time they have no plans to release a JIRA docker container.
