Hi, I have Trello set up to run multiple projects across my research team. Some of these projects are single person. some are collaborative. There are, then, lists where there is only one member and lists where there are several. The team complain that they basically need to scroll through all the lists on the board to find those that concern them. Is there a way a member can login and see either just the tasks associated with them or for tasks to be colour coded according to its Members?
Hi there,
Great question—there a few options that you could consider. The first, if individual cards are assigned to the right person, those individuals can always go to https://trello.com/my/cards and they'll see only cards that they're members of. This view does lose the board view and list context of cards, but that might be exactly what you're looking for.
You can also filter any board to show only cards that any member is assigned to: https://help.trello.com/article/787-filtering-cards-on-a-board
This won't hide empty lists, though, so people will still need to scroll through to get to their relevant lists. Hopefully one of these options helps!
