I just updated my Trello app to use the latest Atlassian, two-step identification, which on my iPhone uses Face ID. When I try to log into Trello on my iPad, which only has fingerprint recognition, I am not able to login to Trello. How do I log into Trello on my iPad, using the latest two-step identification? Is this a bug?
Hi James!
The option “Can’t use your security key” will offer you other options. I can’t test it on my side, so can you please confirm which options appear?
i’ve been unable to login to reply to this thread. i do most of my trello work from my ipad and am currently unable to login. using my iphone 11 with face recognition and am finger typing this response.
on ipad air 2 when i click on “Can’t use your security key?” it takes me to a very similar screen which i’m including below with the two options: “Can’t find your recovery key?” and “Use your security key” neither of which helps me make progress.
I was not given a recovery key when i updated Trello on my iphone 11.
I would like to disable the two-step authentication so that i can use Trello again on my ipad air 2.
can you help?

Since you mentioned, you can access Trello on your iPhone using Face ID, check if you can disable 2FA from there:
