I am about to cancel my trello account because every time I invite a user to "see" their assigned tasks, my invoice is increased with a new user.
What I am looking for is to have a board with several cards (20) and in each card assign tasks to different users (in total about 200). These users can only receive reminders. It is I (administrator) who will be responsible for maintaining the progress of the cards.
I want passive users but I find it too expensive if I have to pay for each one.

I would appreciate any help to clarify, if so (payment for each passive user) I will have to cancel the account.

Hi @Juan José Sánchez ,

Because Business Class is an upgrade for teams, it’s charged per team member per month or year. So, every additional member that you invite to be a member of your team will incur an additional charge.

You can still invite people directly to one board in the team without being charged. However, if they are on multiple boards, they will become Multi-Board Guests and will be billed at the same rate as a team member:

As those members aren’t on your team, they won't be able to add Power-Ups, and you won't have the team management aspect of Business Class, but, paying for them allows them to maintain access to some team resources, while keeping them out of all team resources.

If you have any additional questions, please reach out to us at and we can help out with this further.
