Would eliminating an email address effectively remove a specific member?

I have an employee who was terminated and so was access to their email address. Would this also stop notifications and them being able to see the boards and cards they were on? (not a business class member, yet)

@Todd Baumann No they would still be able to login, they just wouldn't be able to reset their password. What you will need to do is re-establish the email address, do a forgotten password request, then take control of the account and delete it (or just reset the password).
