Workspace not shared but Boards can be visible on team workspace

Hello.  Our company just started the FREE version of trello for now and would like to test it before any upgrading the plans.

This is the question:

For example 2 members : Amy and Ben

Amy's Workspace created a Board (ex: Orange Project), and would like to share it with Ben. Amy doesn't want to ADD Ben as a member to see her ENTIRE Workspace, so she had only shared the 'Orange Project' board with Ben. 

But on Ben's workspace, the 'Orange Project Board' is NOT visible on his workspace, the board would only show up when Ben selects "Amy's Workspace" (but only seeing the 'Orange Project' board, not the rest).

Question: is it possible to have shared boards to be VISIBLE on their OWN workspace? Or is this a feature with the upgraded plans?

You could make a third Workspace and put your shared boards there. Ie “Ben&Amys Ice Cream Company” would be the workspace and both Ben and Amy would be members. 

Also you can make private boards in a Workspace.
