Will archived Trello cards and checklists from existing cards import to Jira?

The "Importing Data from Trello" help article states that if you have access to Jira Software:

• Any cards in Trello that have been archived will not be imported.
• Archived Trello lists and their cards won't be imported.
• Any checklists created in Trello won't be imported.

It says if you don't have Jira Software the above will be imported.

How can you import the Trello information without the Jira software?

How can I import the archived cards and checklists from the other cards?

I have the same issue.  We are moving from using Trello to Jira, so before abandoning Trello we want to move everything, including archived cards, into Jira. 

The Jira help page, https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/importing-data-from-trello-951386555.html is what Lucas is referring to.  It makes no sense to state that if you "don't have Jira Software" archived cards will be imported. 

I'm using the next-gen product and verified that if I do the direct import from Trello, the archived cards DO NOT get imported with the board.  Is there another way to get archived cards into Jira?
