I want to write a rule: when a new card is added to the board with the description containing DB Credentials blank, set custom field Club Name to blank
I have tried the wildcard method but apparently I just dont understand
@Brandon Bowie I did the test before and after the change. The custom field before would have value aaaaaaaaaa but after the change and run, it is set to null ie no value there with a system prompt to "Add wildcard_1..."
Same with the comment field.
It appears to work as intended. Am I missing something?
when the description of a card contains "DB Credentials{*}", post comment "this is the value after Build : aaaaa{wildcard1}aaaaa", and set custom field "Wildcard_1" to "aaaaa{wildcard1}aaaaa"
to:
when the description of a card contains "DB Credentials{*}", post comment "this is the value after Build : {wildcard1}", and set custom field "Wildcard_1" to "{wildcard1}"
You know, I have no idea what I did but last night I tried it again and it worked fine.
I am new to this platform so it was user error 100%
