Why can't I create 'personal' board any longer?

I have a number of 'personal use' boards but now whenever I try to create new ones it forces me to pick a team to create them into... Why is that? Is there any workaround?!

  Create a team where the only member is you and assign that team to the new board, in this way you will have the problem solved.
