We are a medium large physical therapy practise using trello to work on project inside our organisation.

We use a single board and work with 2 members and 15 guests?

What type of account is the best option for us?

Hi @Raymond van Boxtel
Welcome to the community!

Take a look at https://trello.com/pricing

I think Trello Premium plan is likely the best fit for your needs. Here are the key reasons:

  1. Unlimited Boards: Unlike the Free and Standard plans, Premium allows unlimited boards, which can be beneficial as your projects and team grow.

  2. Views and Advanced Features: Premium offers multiple views such as Calendar, Timeline, Dashboard, Workspace Table, and Map view, which help in visualizing and managing projects more effectively. This is particularly useful for tracking patient schedules, treatment plans, and project timelines.

  3. Automation and Customization: The Premium plan provides unlimited Butler automation commands, which can save time by automating repetitive tasks. Additionally, it includes advanced checklists and custom fields, which help in organizing and tracking detailed project information efficiently.

  4. Admin and Security Features: Premium includes robust administrative controls and security features, ensuring better management of team members and sensitive patient information.

  5. Guest Access: Since you work with 15 guests, Premium's support for multi-board guests will be beneficial, allowing external collaborators to access the necessary boards without compromising security.

The cost of the Premium plan is $10 per user per month when billed annually ($12.50 if billed monthly), which offers a comprehensive set of features tailored to medium and large teams that require more advanced project management capabilities (Trello) (Cloudwards) (Atlassian).

If your team grows or if you need even more extensive security and administrative controls, the Enterprise plan might be worth considering in the future, but for now, Premium should suit your needs well.

Could you please accept the answer below, so that it helps others in future?

Thanks.

Just to clarify, Standard also includes many of these benefits that @Valeriia_Havrylenko_SaaSJet listed for Premium:

  • Unlimited boards
  • No collaborator limit
  • Advanced checklists
  • Custom fields
  • Single-board guests are free (in both Standard and Premium, multi-board guests are billed at the same rate as Workspace members)

Standard also includes automation and admin controls, though not as much as Premium. Standard does not include Views.

If you were happy with the free plan and just need to upgrade in order to collaborate with more than 10 users, I would suggest Standard. Regardless of whether you go with Standard or Premium, if you're only using a single board, all of those guests will be free.
