Webhook action when revoking an app from Trello?

George January 29, 2020

Is there any way of notifying the app that the user revoked the connected app from his/her account?

A webhook action or some other way to notify the app?

👋 The short answer is, no - there isn't an easy way to be notified when this happens.

The longer answer is, kinda. We do create a `tokenRevoked` event on the member compliance polling route as documented here: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/guides/compliance/personal-data-storage-gdpr/. If you _really_ wanted to be notified, you could poll that to keep track.

I think it is a reasonable request to ask that we fire a final message to a webhook that the token has been revoked. I'll pass that request along to the team.

Also, come join us over at https://community.developer.atlassian.com/c/trello. There are a number of folks developing integrations/Power-Ups on Trello that ask developer-centric questions over there.

@bentley Thanks for your answer!

I didn't knew a developer community existed here on Atlassian, since the Slack channel was closed down I though this was the community to ask questions.

Also, can you please let me know if your team decides to implement sending a webhook for revocations too.

Thanks so much!
