We are trying to use the Email to Board feature to allow clients to send in website edits and compile them all into a single issues board. Is it possible to send comments back to the original email address that sent the email?
Does that make sense? OR is there a way to do this that I'm not aware of?
@Ashlea Lanier there are 3 solutions for email like this in Trello:
1) My own product BenkoDesk lets you securely share a Gmail account with any number of team members through Trello -- it doesn't run as a powerup so all the functionality works on any device and it doesn't use a "power up spot" but it does use a "bot user" so if you have business class you pay extra for that user if it is on more than one board:
You can use it with other email providers by forwarding mail to a Gmail account.
2) SendBoard is a powerup that allows you to forward email into their server and send email replies and create new emails directly from Trello:
3) Hipporello is similar to SendBoard but also has the ability to submit requests via web forms:
4) Cardbox is another option that connects Gmail threads to Trello cards:
