User profile display wont update to new profile name

On a standard trello board, I have various tasks added to my user.

When I initially set up my user profile, I put in the wrong name.

When i hover over the task for me, I see my old username/profile.

I want the task to reflect my correct username, not the old one,

Ive tried changing usernames and profile info but it keeps rejecting saying name is taken,

1. The username you are trying to get is might be taken by someone else.

2. Log out of your account clear cache, history, etc from your browser and re-open your browser and log in to your account & visit the below link and follow the below steps:
