Unable to view photo attachment

Sometimes when opening a photo attached to a card, the photo is encrypted and comes up as attached.

On other occasions, the images are mixed up across the cards and it shows the incorrect image for that card. This is whilst using the app on a phone. The issue doesn't seem to happen on the desktop.IMG_2225.jpgIMG_20241127_084733.jpg

Does anyone have any solutions?

Hi @Carly Peisley !

This might be the first I'm seeing this issue, would you mind going over a few things so we can pinpoint what's behind this? 

  1. Can you tell me what format the image is in? 
  2. If you upload the same image to a different card, does it still open like this? 
  3. Do you have access to a friend or coworker's phone where you can try to open the same card and check if this error still occurs? 
  4. Can you tell me what model of phone you're using? 

I'll look forward to your response and get ready to raise a bug report if we can't find a solution here!

Thank you for your response. Please see answers to your questions below:

1.  some of the issue images I noticed were JFIF format. I removed these, saved them as JPEG and re-uploaded however this didn't seem to solve the issue.

2. This was occurring with different images across different cards. However not all images. Some would open fine. My client told me sometimes she would click on the image and it would take her to a random website and then when she went back to the card the image would be visible

3. My client and her daughter seem to be having the same issue on both of their phones (they have iPhone) however I myself didn't have any issues opening the same cards on my desktop or Samsung phone.

Hi, Carly! Thanks for your response!

While I haven't been able to reproduce this issue yet, all the files I've been using have been my own.

If you don't mind, I'm creating a Support Ticket, which should arrive in your email inbox in a few minutes. There, I'll ask that you upload some of the images that have displayed this issue, preferably one in JFIF and another in JPEG, so I can try to reproduce the same behaviour using them. 

After we've done that, I'll move forward with the Bug Report and link it back here so it stays public.
