Trello appending http to scheme in applicaiton links. Is this intentional?

Hi all,

When attaching a link to a card in Trello version 2.10.13 on OS X 10.14.3 that uses an application scheme it prepends http.

For example the link

x-devonthink-item://F1B97DB6-81BD-46A7-8EFE-02FC646DE0FF

Gets added to the card as

which breaks associating application specific references.

Is this intentional?

If so, why? If not, would this be a feature others would find useful?

Hi Robert,

I wouldn't say it's intentional that we're breaking your application scheme URL, but adding the http at the beginning is intentional, as most people are adding web links there. That's the expected attachment type

I'll certainly let the team know you'd like to see this changed, but in the meantime, I would suggest editing the link after attaching it to remove the http. Sorry about that!
