Trello Reports

I  setup an automation rule: to create daily reports. however I dont no where to find the report once it has been generated.

i was told that it can eb access via a "variable" but I do not know what this is or where to acccess it. 

"The contents of the report are stored in a variable, {$report}, so you need to call that variable to pull up the results."

I a using a free version of Trello .

Here's an example of a board button that, when clicked, generates a report, and adds it as a description to a new card on the board:

There's other places you could send the report too, for example the card could be created on another board just for reports.

You can also have the report sent via email, or sent to another service via a HTTP request, but both of those options require a paid Trello account.
