Tracking individual member's progress

Natasha Whiteside December 2, 2017

I have just started using Trello. I have multiple members on assigned to a list. Are the checklists assigned to each person? Will a list not reach 100% completion unless every member has completed the tasks on the checklist?

Hi Natasha,

Members on the card containing those checklists are only assigned to the card as a whole, and not the checklists, so there's no correlation between members and the checklists. This means that 100% completion is only referencing the status of each checklist item, whether it's been checked or not, regardless of which member checked it. Any checklist item that is checked by one member will also be checked for all members.

Is there an ability to create a checklist in confluence where the progress is by the individual not shared by each user?

This is not in Trello but just in a confluence checklist functionality!

Hi Natasha

Checklists aren't assigned to certain individuals. Once a checklist has all items marked as completed, the checklist will be shown as 100% completion, regardless of who checked the items.
