Table View refreshes very poorly

Hi dear community,

 

My team and I are working with trello premium (~10 teammembers, ~23boards/projekts) and using the table-view-mode a lot.

Unfortunately, we report the following issue:

whenever a new card is created (or even just changed), it takes a lot of time until the table refreshes. Sometimes it works if i close the trello app and reopen it - sometimes even this doesn't work and we are stuck with the same view as before - without the changes...

 

Do you have a solution for this?

We are working in a lot of short periods - and this is really annoying :/

Hi @Florian Holzmayer 

If you are looking just for view mode table view which refreshes reliably you could check out Blue Cat Reports (paid power-up) which can do that across any number of boards.

Probably not the answer you were hoping for I appreciate but maybe a work around for now :)

Hey @Florian Holzmayer - how many boards have you added to your Table View? This might be occurring if you have a lot of boards on the view, and each of those boards are bringing in a lot of cards. 

I have around 18 or so

I reckon that could be the reason why you're experiencing slowness. If you reduce the number of boards on the View, does this speed it up?

It could also be the number of cards being brought into the View that is affecting its performance as well.

Unfortunately this doesn't solve my problem - because in my opinion the option to look at a lot of cards and boards should be the main feature of the table view?

I will try to merge a few boards now - but thats also just a work around...we pay for trello premium to use a lot of boards and now i should just use a lot less for it to work in table view? :(
