Hello,
I'm considering recommending Trello to a neighbourhood group for managing local projects.
Out of the 50 or so neighbours, a few are elderly and only communicate via email.
Is there a way to ping the contents of a card to someone by email?
Thank you kindly for your help,
Craig
@C you can use Butler to send an email automatically and get access to things like the description and so on via variables.
This won't send from an address they could reply to, though. If you wanted to do that, you could use Butler to send emails to the Zapier Email Parser, then connect that to, for example, a Gmail account to re-send the email from an address that would be able to receive replies.
Alternatively, you can export/print a card as a PDF, attach that to an email and send it to someone, although it may come across a little confusing depending on the formatting and the type of information you have on the card.
If you'd like to just be able to send an email to someone from a Trello card, you can look at these options:
1) My product, BenkoDesk, allows you to use Trello as a team email client for Gmail http://www.benkodesk.com/
2) There is also the SendBoard power up that does something similar https://sendboard.com/
3) And Hipporello which is a helpdesk powerup for Trello https://www.hipporello.com/
