Scrum Sprint Management in Trello

Martin König July 23, 2018

Hi All

I've created a board for my Sprints. In the review meeting as a procedure of closing a sprint I just rename the board with the new time frame (e.g. Sprint calendar week 31-34).

What I'd love to do:

1. Create a new board for the next sprint.

2. Close the sprint (current board goes to archive)

3. Cards in list (Committed and Doing) will be moved to the new board (1.)

Does anybody have a good suggestion on how to achieve this very easily? With a power up or with a handy trick Trello offers?

I know Jira would do all that but Jira is not an option.

Thanks for any hints.

Hey Martin,

I think a Power-Up like Scrum by Vince might be what you are looking for. It gives you a lot of control over your Sprints and how you would like them configured. I believe the only thing it can't do out of your requests, is archive the board after the sprint is done.

Let me know if that's something that will work for you!

Hey Garrett

Thanks for your reply. This seems to be a helpful power up.

I'll give it a go.

Thanks, Martin
