I have 2-3 employees on Trello.
We are currently on the Free plan. I have setup separate boards for sales and vendor rates. To keep track of project costs and profitability, I attach the particular vendor rate card to a sales card and connect both.
But, I don't want the employee on the Sales board to be able to browse and open the vendor rate card on the Vendors board by clicking the connected card. And vice versa for the employee on the Vendors board.
I have tried looking for this functionality on Trello, but cannot figure out the minimum plan where this can be achieved.
Hi @Zak Tec !
So, with Trello, there's not really a specific plan that lets you hide the contents of linked cards from users who have access to the boards. However, here's how it works: when you link cards from different boards, users who don't have access to a board won't be able to see the contents of the linked card. They'll know there's a link, but they won't be able to see what's inside unless they have access to that board. It should look like this:
This feature is actually independent of any pricing plan, so you can do this even on the Free plan. Just make sure that the employees on the Sales board don't have access to the Vendors board and vice versa. This way, they won't be able to view the contents of each other's linked cards. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the reply
