Remove "green" complete due date color on card front

Is there a way to remove the "green" complete reference from the Due Date on the front of a card when the task is complete?

No, there isn't. But if it bothers you enough, you could work around it using custom fields and Butler.

The easiest would be to just have Butler remove the due date when you complete it. A rule like:

when the due date is marked as complete in a card, remove the due date from the card

would do that.

If you want to preserve the date, you could use a custom field, and have Butler copy over the due date before you remove it.

So it'd be a command like:

when the due date is marked as complete in a card, set custom field "Date Completed" to "cardduedate", and remove the due date from the card
