I'm attempting to get Trello incorporated into my company, but one of the issues we're running into is with vacation requests. Right now we have it all go through email, and I want it to go through Trello cards. The problem I'm running into is that we can't have other employees see other people's requests. So what I'm wondering is if there is a way to have a card become hidden to others when it is submitted, and only visible to the administration team. That way we can address it without others seeing the request. This is to avoid FMLA and other types of privacy issues.
@Garrett Hoffman the only way to avoid anyone from ever being able to see each others' requests is to have each person assigned their own board on which they created their requests and then perhaps using a Butler command to have these moved to a board controlled by admins.
Why not have people email their requests into Trello by giving them the "email to board" email address for leave requests and asking them to add that to their contacts. Then they can submit via email but you can manage it via Trello.
If you had to thrive a new habit during a lockdown, what would it be? Trello
